Harsimran Sidhu

About Me

Harsimran (Sim) holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Orthopedics and has been practicing for more than 12 years. Sim has experience of working with clients with different age groups, treating Orthopaedic injuries, MVA related injuries, workplace injuries, arthritis management, and vestibular disorders. She is certified in Advanced level of functional dry needling (IMS) from Kinetacore based in the US. She is also certified in functional therapeutics for advanced exercise prescription based on client needs, tendon injuries management, advanced level of vestibular rehabilitation, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. In order to help her clients with Arthritis and pre and post-surgical Management in a more efficient manner, she has completed the Arthritis Continuing Education Program from Mary Pack Arthritis Institute at Vancouver General Hospital. Sim’s treatment approach is based on correcting the movement dysfunction, alleviating pain, preventing re-injury, and helping the client return to pre-injury functional status. Her treatment includes a detailed assessment and setting the treatment goals with the client and she works on achieving those goals by using various Manual Therapy Skills, IMS, modalities, and exercise prescription.

Adam Dadson

About Me

Adam Dadson completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 2017 and continued on to graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy's program in April of 2019. At WCCMT, he acquired over 560 hours of practicum experience working with a variety of general and specific clinical conditions. Adam has had the opportunity to work with UBC's varsity teams, GF Strong patients, people with neurological & physiological pathologies, as well as general aches & pains. His practical skills continued to grow through an internship program at Legacies Health Center over the past year. These experiences have taught Adam the most important thing for him to provide for his patients, and that is a strong foundational knowledge that empowers them to achieve their personal goals. Adam is eager to continue to learn and grow in the profession he is so passionate about by working with the Think Physiotherapy team and patients!

Neil Arun

About Me

Neil Arun holds BPT, MPT (Orthopedics), MAS (Global Health) and he is an enthusiastic and resourceful physiotherapist who is passionate about the therapeutic treatment for his patients by using different tools of physiotherapy. He is keen in helping people recover with injuries sustained from illness, ageing, surgery or disability and his clinical interest resides in the management of different orthopedic conditions and general athletic injuries.

Raman Samra

About Me

Raman is passionate in working with adolescents and adults through a variety of different issues, including: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, addiction, and psychosis. She is grounded in a culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed perspective and believes in each individual’s innate desire to heal and move towards their life goals. She acknowledges the unique experiences that each person brings to the counselling process, and feels privileged to be included in your journey. Raman holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy and has been practicing as a Registered Clinical Counsellor since 2017. Raman holds a unique set of skills through her experience specializing within the criminal justice and mental health system for over 5 years. She has completed additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma-Informed Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Intensive Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1).

Peter started taking interest in acupuncture at age 12 while observing his father (who is a Traditional Chinese medicine doctor). He chose the path to learn and follow in his father's footsteps and graduated from Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in 2018. He registered as an Acupuncturist in Canada in 2020. He has expertise in pain relief caused by sports injuries and car accidents. Acupuncture can benefit individuals who suffer from; *Migraines and headaches *Chronic pain *Arthritis *Back and neck pain *Sports injuries *Acute injuries *Stress-related problems While helping with different symptoms such as: pain relief, reducing muscle spasm/joint stiffness, and swelling, as well as promoting the release of endorphins.

Austin Kao

About Me

"Austin holds a Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and has continued on to pursue a Master of Physiotherapy degree. He plans to complete his physiotherapy degree in 2022, with a focus in musculoskeletal injuries and active rehabilitation. He is particularly interested in preventative therapy and education, in addition to neck and shoulder dysfunctions. Currently, he is well versed in pain education, active rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and sports-specific training. Years of experience in the medical field has given Austin the opportunity to work with a wide variety of conditions and dysfunctions, in all age groups. His desire to help others, compounded by an intense curiosity to listen and learn, makes him someone you can always talk to. Give him a shout if you see him at the clinic! His experiences have also allowed him to work with a variety of therapies and therapists, and loves what a truly cohesive, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary team can achieve.
